CALLING ALL

“SEASONS OF
CAMBRIA” 2009 CALENDAR COMPETITION
Information Form
Rotary of Cambria Sunrise
Centennial is sponsoring a 2009 Calendar Competition. All creative
people of any age are urged to submit photos, artwork, and/or writings
to be considered for publication. We are looking for submissions that
show the beauty of Cambria in every season. Submissions need not be
current but must not have been previously published. Deadline for
submission is March 31, 2008.
Critical MUST READ information
is as follows:
- The preferred method for
submission is via an online service, such a Snapfish.com,
Photobucket.com, or other comparable service. Upload your submission
into a file identified as “Rotary Calendar 2009 Submission”. Send an
email with your name, contact information, and a link to your photo
album to hstroh@sjlmlaw.com.
You are encouraged to caption the photo with a name and/or
description of where it was taken. Writings should be submitted
directly via email.
- Submission of photographs
can be made to ECR Gallery 2261 Center Street, Cambria. The
submission should be in an envelope marked “Rotary Calendar 2009
Submission”. Also on the front of the envelope write your name,
address, phone, and email address. Sorry, photos cannot be returned.
- ALL PHOTOS must be in 8
1/2” x 11” landscape format and 300 dpi camera ready.
- Original artwork will be
considered—simply send in a photograph. If selected, arrangements
will be made to take a high resolution photo. Submissions must be
the artist’s own work.
- Written submissions of 50
words or less which are historical, poetic, or of an anecdotal
nature about Cambria will be considered for publication.
- Limit of 10 photos per
artist please.
- Photos and artwork will be
selected to depict each month of the year. We are looking for photos
that represent the seasons of Cambria. Thus works that clearly link
to the seasons have a greater chance of winning!
CONTESTANTS AGREE that the
Rotary Club of Cambria Sunrise Centennial, its agents or its
representatives shall not be liable for any loss, damage, theft or
claims of any kind to any submitted art work including, if any, frame
or mounting while in possession of Cambria Sunrise Centennial.
CONESTANT REPRESENTS and
warrants that the photograph/art/writing submitted is the contestant’s
own work and has not been previously published. Contestant grants
unlimited license to Rotary Club of Cambria Sunrise Centennial to use
